This event at Berkeley Church presented a challenge for the Reznick team. At older venues, like this one, the floor is particularly sensitive. The heritage stairs are quite narrow and it’s important to everyone that the wood is not harmed. A site inspection by Alex Young caught these problems well in advance and we devised a solution. We used a special double-taping method: low-tack tape to preserve the stairs and carpet tape to secure the carpet down. The result was a pristine installation that looked good and, importantly, presented no trip hazard on the narrow stairs. The use of hot pink carpet creates a vibrant modern look in this old-world space; a perfect welcome to this activation for a big make up brand.

NOTE: in these pics, the plastic cover is still on the carpet.
